Skookum is ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 certified and CARF accredited. The discipline required to obtain these certifications resulted in well documented processes that our employees adhere to in order to routinely deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Quality is built into our processes – not inspected after the fact. Skookum employs an ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 auditor who routinely performs self-checks of our ISO processes and document control system. Our commitment is to continually improve the value we deliver to our customers and we have adopted the ISO 9001:2008 philosophy of Plan-Do-Check-Act as a mechanism to constantly move us forward.

Safety

Skookum Contract Services commitment to Safety is deeply rooted in its Core Values. Skookum is committed to spending the time, energy, and resources to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers, sub-contractors, and clients. Improvements to our existing safety programs are continually implemented into each operation. As Skookum expands into new areas of business we continually build upon and expand safety operations to guarantee successful operations and personnel safety across the country.


Skookum’s Safety Department is staffed by the Quality and Safety Director, two Safety Officers (covering various geographical locations), and a Safety Representative and Safety Committee for each division. The department’s overall objective is to protect the safety and health of employees by creating a healthy work environment free from hazards. The safety department accomplishes this by implementing, and providing guidance and assistance in complying with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory laws, requirements, policies and procedures.
