BREMERTON — Employees of Skookum Contract Services have little excuse not to get a health checkup.

Bremerton company creates new job opportunities for disabled veterans

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — At Joint Base Lewis-McChord, veteran Josh Rupert now has a new career outside of the military. He helps manage all of the equipment and gear at a warehouse facility. When he left the army two years ago, he didn’t realize he would end up back on a military base.

Congressman Denny Heck visited our contract at the Central Issue Facility on Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA. He talked with employees and enjoyed hearing their stories.


Fort Lee hosted President Barack Obama in September of 2016. Skookum helped CNN with electrical service to their cameras, ensured all HVAC systems were functioning properly, and beautified the grounds along the Presidential motorcade.
