Why is Skookum rebranding?
The rebrand reflects our growth, evolution, and renewed focus on our social purpose (mission) and values. It’s an opportunity to align our identity with our future goals and vision while eliminating any confusion about who we are. Tessera represents the progress we’ve made and our commitment to a brighter future.
What does the new name/logo/tagline mean?
Tessera, inspired by a mosaic, symbolizes how individual pieces come together to create something greater. It represents collaboration, community, and the strength of our shared purpose. Our tagline, Empowering Excellence, reflects our dedication to quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
When will the rebrand take effect?
The official launch date is mid-March 2025. You’ll begin to see updates to signage, digital platforms, uniforms, and materials leading up to this date.
Will my position or role change because of the rebrand?
No, the rebrand does not affect your position, responsibilities, or employment terms. It’s a refresh of our identity, not our organizational structure.
Will my benefits or pay be impacted?
No, your benefits, pay, and employment terms remain unchanged. The rebrand does not alter our commitments to employees.
What happens to my old materials or uniforms?
We’ll provide instructions on how to retire old materials. Uniforms and branded items will be recycled or disposed of sustainably
When can I expect my new uniforms?
Uniforms will be rolled out starting end of February 2025. Distribution will occur through supervisors or designated apparel leads.
Can I still wear my Skookum-branded apparel?
No, all Skookum-branded apparel items must be turned in as part of the rebranding effort. However, if you own Skookum-branded jackets, vests, or hoodies that are black, we can provide patches with the new Tessera logo to cover the Skookum logo.
When is the last day I can wear my Skookum-branded apparel?
All Skookum-branded apparel must be phased out by mid-March 2025, ahead of the official Tessera rebrand launch. After this date, only Tessera-branded apparel should be worn to align with the new company identity.
What about business cards and office stationery?
Updated materials will be available for replacement and ordering. Detailed guidance will be shared after the new year on how to request new business cards and stationery.
Will the company provide training on the rebrand for employees?
Yes, we’ll host informational sessions and provide resources to ensure everyone understands and can communicate the new brand effectively. Stay tuned for more details.
When will email signatures be updated?
We will roll out new email signatures company-wide closer to the launch of the new brand.
Will the company’s purpose (mission) change?
No, our core purpose (mission) remains unchanged. The rebrand strengthens how we communicate them, ensuring clarity and alignment as we grow.

What happens to branded items like signage or equipment?
These items will be replaced as part of the rebrand rollout. If you notice anything outdated after the rebrand launch, please notify your manager.
