A Summer Pre-ETS Program for Transition Students

Tracks to Success Academy is a summer program designed to provide individual work-based learning activities and experiences for enrolled Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) students.

The Summer Academy Program will include workplace readiness and self-advocacy training at Skookum’s Home Office, located at 4525 Auto Center Way, Bremerton, WA 98312

Once completed, the student may choose to participate in job site tours at local businesses to see what kind of jobs are available in their community.

Program Requirements

Ages: Must be between the ages of 16-21.

Enrollment:

• Be currently enrolled in a Pre-ETS at a public school.
• Have a record of satisfactory attendance at previous schools.
• Remain an active participant throughout the length of the program.
• Be able to work closely with teachers and staff to fulfill program requirements.
• Be willing to make a commitment for one of the Tracks to Success.
• Have the desire and motivation to participate in, learn, and benefit from an employment experience through the Tracks to Success Academy program.

Transportation:

• Have reliable transportation to/from Skookum and job tour sites in Kitsap county.

Be Independent:

• Be able to navigate a workplace setting safely and independently.
• Demonstrate independence, motivation, and stability.
• Independently take care of any personal care and medication needs.
